Saturday, 15 April 2006

ImageThe Regional Dialogue on the Information Society, known by its Spanish acronym DIRSI, will hold a workshop on ICT policy and regulation on 18 and 19 April 2006 in Santiago Chile. The workshop will evaluate DIRSI research, which has to date focussed on universal access strategies, regulatory framework reform and programs to increase efficiency and transparency in the public sector, and discuss the network's new research agenda. On 20 April an open expert forum will be held to engage the Chilean ICT policy community.

DIRSI is a WDR partner network in Latin America and the Caribbean.
