The site is a news section of The Association for Progressive Communication Internet and ICTs for Social Justice and Development (Asociación para el Progreso de las Comunicaciones) offers a selection of news about ICT politicies and Internet rights in LAC as well as a free e-newsletters. It is updated daily by APC members.

Evaluation: Although its main focus on digital citizeship social issues it is a high quality resource of LAC news with something to offer on at least a weekly basis.

Additional information: The Association for the Progress of Communication (Asociación para el Progreso de las Comunicaciones) is a active NG0 in LAC and in its site you can find valuable reports (called Investigaciones Especiales - Special Investigations) about national and special issues, and LAC participation in WSIS.

According to the site, "The Association for Progressive Communications is a global network of civil society organisations whose mission is to empower and support organisations, social movements and individuals in and through the use of information and communication technologies to build strategic communities and initiatives for the purpose of making meaningful contributions to equitable human development, social justice, participatory political processes and environmental sustainability."
